This past month, the Summit Performance Group spent three weeks on the incredible island of Maui delivering two major incentive programs to over 1100 people.

Maui has it all!! Including unique adventures such as biking 38 miles through 4 climate zones down the side of Haleakala, ATVing in the Haleakala Crater, hiking through bamboo forests and down a 30 foot Banyan tree to refresh in numerous waterfalls, helicoptering to and from Hana and visiting the Seven Pools, exploring 400 foot waterfalls in the West Maui rainforests, sampling pineapple wines at the Maui Winery, ziplining through forests on the slopes of Haleakala, experiencing true island hospitality at the Ole Lahaina Luau and swimming with sea turtles.

These adventures mixed with incredible sunsets, warm trade winds, world-class, championship golf, unique shopping, sumptuous dining, elegant accommodations, relaxing spas and friendly people make Maui and the other Hawaiian Islands an ideal location for your incentive events. ~Doug Wheeler, Partner

Recently, Summit Performance Group took one of our groups to Victoria Canada for their President’s Club incentive program. We planned private excursions, an “Amazing Race” teambuilding event along with many parties and other group functions.

The event that had all of the guests in awe was our evening at Butchart Gardens. We brought the group into the gardens via private floatplanes from downtown Victoria Harbour. This allowed guests to enjoy the beauty of the gardens from above before taking them on a tour and enjoying an outdoor cocktail reception. After the tour, our guests were treated to a wonderful dinner in a private dining room overlooking the gardens. The tables were dressed with heavy brocade linens and centerpieces made from flowers straight out of the gardens the group overlooked. During dinner, a classical duo played background music. After dinner, guests were free to roam the gardens on their own and then met for the shuttle ride back to the hotel. This was a once-in-a- lifetime experience that our group would not have been able to do on their own. ~Kila Green, Account Manager

Saturday, October 8th, was a night to remember. The weather was a perfect 80 degrees with a light breeze coming through the Phoenix Valley. Guests of a recent conference were taken to Maricopa Wells,by way of hay bale wagons. Maricopa Wells is an old western town at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort. Margaritas and beer awaited them at their arrival. After enjoying a refreshing libation, guests were escorted to the vast lawn area of Maricopa where dinner was to be served, but not before some lively entertainment. A Trick Gun Slinger and Trick Roper showed off their skills to the crowd. Then, a local celebrity, Frosty the Bull, showed up for a photo opportunity. Shortly thereafter, guests were treated to country western style music from “Mike T and the Band.” After dining, many of the guests took dance lessons from the line dance instructors there to help anyone who needed a little extra coaching.
